Solving Service Host Local System consuming high CPU: Disable Microsoft Background Intelligent Transfer Service

  1. Run MsConfig (typ msconfig in Win + R)
  2. Go to System Configuation >> Service
  3. In Service Tab, find Background Intelligent Transfer Service and untick the box
  4. Click Apply and Restart Computer
