In this case, recent items refer to the multiple features in Windows that track recently opened documents, application usage, and more.

By default, Atlas disables recent items using policies, meaning you can't change the settings. However, by running Unlock Recent Items.cmd, you can unlock recent item settings and re-enable whichever you'd like.

Troubleshooting Service Host Local System consuming high CPU: Affinity of only 1 Processor

By limiting a Service Host to only 1 Processor (instead of All), you can significantly reduce the total CPU it consumes. For example, if your PC has 10 Processors, the Service Host's using total CPU would rarely exceed 10%.
